Foundry Formulas is a collection of unique luxury beauty and personal care products created by cosmetic formulator John Kilroy. John is one of the UK's most exciting skincare designers, building a range of genuinely innovative creations that are technically advanced, elegant and sensuous.
"If we can't think of ways to make a product clinically superior to the alternatives, then we won't bother making it. This passion inevitably leads us towards technically advanced ingredients from the world's best skincare laboratories. But nature is a massive part of our story. We make organic wildcrafted extracts, ferments and lysates from wild berries, flowers and botanicals we gather in the Somerset countryside. These are unique, small-batch materials which are integral to the products we make."
Foundry is located on the site of a Saxon water mill in Frome, Somerset. Over the centuries it has been a place of making: a mill, a farm, a cloth factory. Today we continue this tradition in our own contemporary way, in a setting that shapes and inspires our philosophy and products.
