Foundry Formulas is a collection of unique luxury beauty and personal care products designed by Cosmetic Formulator and Perfumer John Kilroy. John is one of the UK's most interesting formulators with a range of genuinely innovative and genre-blurring creations which manage to be both technically elegant and deeply sensory.
"Everything we make is firmly rooted in skincare science so we use many technically advanced ingredients from the world's best skincare laboratories. But we also make many of our own organic extracts, ferments and lysates from wild berries, flowers and botanicals we gather in the Somerset countryside. These are small-batch artisan materials which are integral to the products we make. Embracing both science and nature has many obvious advantages - it's an important part of our identity."
Foundry is located on the site of a Saxon water mill in Frome, Somerset. Over the centuries it has been a place of making: a mill, a farm, a cloth factory. Today, we continue this tradition in our own contemporary way, in a setting that shapes and inspires our philosophy and products.
